Company

Schwer currently has 16 worldwide subsidiaries and approximately 380 employees. Also in Germany, Schwer Ventiltechnik specialising in the production of stainless steel ball valves and valves, and sales offices in Berlin, and Hamburg.

Custom made products are developed in close co-operation with customers, and can be produced in small or large quantities. All items pass through a state of the art Quality Control centre, where they are carefully checked against technical drawings. Production takes place in four European locations, each specializing in a particular product range.

Production

Production takes place on approximately 80 high quality, modern CNC machines in six European locations, each specializing in a product range, a material and a market. In addition to standard stainless steel e.g. 1.4571, 1.4404 or 1.4435, items may be manufactured in special materials such as duplex and super duplex.

Engineers and technicians work with our customers, to develop economic, effective and efficient solutions. Items are manufactured in materials ranging from stainless steel to titanium, depending on the application. With patented developments and specialized departments with professional product management, Schwer has opened new markets and continually developed the company.
